Soray ... elegant , romantic and enchanting ... a real must-have

It's been pretty silent on the blog ... it's not that I haven't been sewing ( although my machine broke down and I had to miss it for a few weeks ) ... but I can't seem to find the time to take pictures of my creations and find the inspiration to blog about it.

But let's hope the radio silence is over and I'm back on track.

Today I am presenting a brand new dress. It's a creation of SansaHash a brilliant indie pattern designer.

Soray is elegant, romantic and above all enchanting.

Wait ... that doesn't sound like something I would make for my daughter ... But with the right fabric, you can easily create an elegant and tough-girl look ;-)

I went for an ivory viscose with black dots. The waivy viscose is perfect for the ruffles and the gathered skirt and the modern print and colours turn it into a stylish picture perfect.

Soray comes in 3 versions : a top , a knee height dress and a Maxi dress.

As you can see, I went for the Maxi dress. I like the way the ruffles on the back accentuate the length of the dress.

Ah yes ... the back ... How stunning is this back !!

We were in luck to spend our weekend in Italy. Which gave us great scenery to shoot some pictures, but which gave my daughter a reason to wear it 2 days in a row : we are on holiday, so I get to pick my clothes...

The pattern comes with a very good manual and a tutorial on how to blend sizes so the dress will fit your daughters body perfectly.

You can find some more pictures underneath. Don't forget to scroll to the bottom of the post though, for some more info on the Soray and a discount code.
